Maurine Rose Wheelwright, 81, of Ogden, Utah, died on May 12, 2014 after a short illness. She was born in Logan, Utah on May 29, 1932, to Clarence and Nettie (Barrett) Rose. She graduated from Logan City Schools. In 1952 she moved to Ogden to attend nursing school at the old Dee Hospital. She married Roland P. Wheelwright in the Salt Lake Temple; they were later divorced. She retired from McKay-Dee Hospital. She had been active in the LDS Church and held positions in Relief Society, Mutual, Sunday School, and Primary. She is survived by her sister, Donna Rose of Logan; her 6 children: Debra Ann (Rich) Butterfield of Kearns; Dianne (Scott) Stoddard of Bountiful; Dean R. Wheelwright (Shauna) of Logan; David H. (Cheryl) Wheelwright of South Weber; Dale C. (Shauna) Wheelwright of Blackfoot, Idaho; and Daniel M. Wheelwright of Ogden; 22 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Benjamin Butterfield; and her daughter-in-law, Jennifer Timmons Wheelwright. Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 16, 2014 at 11 am at the Aultorest Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah.
