Max Clarence Henrikson

January 21, 1935 — February 3, 2014

Max C. Henrikson passed away peacefully on February 3, 2014 at his home in Ogden of natural causes. He was born on January 21, 1935 in Park City, Utah to Clarence and Madelyn Henrikson. He graduated from Ogden High School and attended Weber State College. Max married Elaine Randall Bond on March 6, 1964 in Ogden. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple. Max worked for 17 years at Commercial Security Bank; R.W. Taylor Steel and later had his own painting business. Max served as a ward clerk and on the Stake Family History committee. Max was an amazing man putting a smile on everyone's faces and always making someone laugh. He is survived by his wife Elaine of 50 wonderful years; children, Jana (Ray) Tompkins of Carlsbad, CA, Randy Bond of Ogden and Chris (Sandy) Bond of Mountain Green; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Karen Pierce of Salt Lake City. Max was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Colleen. Thank you to the Staff at IHC for all the loving care. At Max's request, only a graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 2 pm at the Ben Lomond Cemetery.
