Michael Gardula was born February 12, 1968, and passed away unexpectedly April 13, 2018.
Mike was married to the love of his life, RuthAnn “Teddi” Gardula. He was a wonderful, adoring father of his five children, and a loving, devoted grandfather to his grandchildren.
Mike loved music and his favorite bands were Rush, Iron Maiden, Megadeath, and Van Halen.
Playing drums was his passion, and he collected drums of all kinds. He began playing drums in high school and dedicated many hours to his performance, both before school and late into the night. Everyone loved to listen to him play at home.
He was also passionate about collecting cars and hotrods, an avid coin collector, fascinated by watches, and cooking/BBQ. Baby back ribs and his famous chicken were the BOMB. He even turned a 6-year vegetarian back into a carnivore with his chicken.
Mike was a good storyteller, and loved a good joke. His contagious laughter could be heard throughout the house and into the neighborhood. He also would tell others how good it was to hear them laugh.
He was the proud owner of a mustache/goatee/beard. According to his family, he was obsessed with grooming it.
He worked first for Rocky Mountain Fabrication, and later for Great Basin Industrial as a Detailing Designer. He formed many lasting relationships at both offices, and had many wonderful stories of his colleagues.
Mike was very devoted to his children and would challenge them to improve their education. He was always able to talk them through their personal problems, and loved to plan new adventures with his children.
The children loved the way he loved and cherished their mother.
He appreciated the small things people did and was always a peacekeeper.
According to his children, he was the most amazing man ever!!
