Michael Scott Presnell

Michael Scott Presnell passed away March 15, 2014 from cancer. He was born September 23, 1960 the son of Grant B and June Bybee Presnell.

He was raised in Ogden and Riverdale , attended Ogden City Schools and Bonneville High. He started to work as a tile setter for Bishop Tile while still in his teens, and was very good at his job. He loved fishing and hunting and had many good times with his friends.

Michael married Michele Farr. They were the parents of Cassie Lynn and Travis Michael Presnell. They were later divorced. Michael married Cheryl Philpott who he had a special relationship with.

Michael is survived by his children and grandchildren Michael Bailey Presnell and Kaden Daniel Martinez; step-children J.R. Micas, J.J Micas and Hope (Justin) , Conner and Jaicee (peanut) and Kaden’s daddy Daniel D Martinez; his parents and sister Kathy Lynne Ellison. Many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by grandparents Willis and Julia Presnell and Orville A and LaVerne Bybee.

Mike had many pets but Lady, Sissy and Buddy were his forever pets. Buddy will accompany Mike on his final journey.

A memorial will be held April 12, 2014 at the Riverdale Park at 2:00 PM. All his friends and family are invited. Bring a balloon for release in Mike’s honor. A Pot Luck Lunch is planned.

The family wants to thank the IHC Hospice, doctors , nurses, and staff for the help they provided in his final months. They were a special group who were there for all of Mike’s needs and comfort.

Thanks to all the friends that came to help Mike through the last final months. Troy thanks for all the hours that you spent with Mike. Russell, Carol, Kim, Steve, Nonnie and all the others thanks.
