Lawrie Skeen Our beloved husband and father passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 24, 2012 at home. He was born May 3, 1948 to Kenneth and Jennie Hadley Skeen and was raised in Pleasant View. He graduated from Weber High and served in the Army for two years in Germany. He married Chris Tubbs in July 1971. They have one son, Brady Skeen, whom his dad loved dearly and enjoyed working on cars with, camping and going to car shows. Lawrie loved working on old cars, going to car shows and drag races. He is survived by his wife, Chris;, son, Brady; and Chase Barnes and Amanda Scannepico who were like his own kids; his brother, Tad (Adele) Skeen; nephew, Bryan and niece, Keri. Also his in-laws, Roy and Marilyn Tubbs; brother-in-laws, Rusty (Diane) Tubbs, Kim (Susan) Tubbs and sister-in-law Michelle Tubbs. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Matt Tubbs. Per Lawrie's request, no services will be held.
