Michael Lee Vandever

Clearfield – Michael Lee Vandever, 36, passed away January 25, 2018 after having several seizures.  This has been a problem for him all of his life.

He was born in Layton, Utah on March 26, 1981 to Duane Calvin and Shirley Stevens Vandever.

He has lived in Clearfield and Layton.  He went to school in Special Education Program, mostly in Layton.

Michael has made a lot of friends everywhere.  He affected their lives for the better.  He loved to help people and did the best he could.  He hasn’t had an easy life with his health problems, but he is now free from it all.

He loved bowling, miniature golfing, basketball, playing games, going to the movies and eating out with the family.

He is survived by his parents, Duane and Shirley; loving sisters, Tammy and Patty; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was welcomed home by his older baby brother, Gary Dean Vandever, and his grandparents, Donal and Wanda Stevens from Clearfield, Utah and John C. and Lylis L. Vandever from Missouri and other family members who have gone before.

There will be no viewing.  A funeral will be held in the North Clearfield Stake Center at 151 North 1000 West in Clearfield at 12:00 p.m. noon on February 6, 2018.
