Mike O Rendon

Mike O Rendon passed away October 19, 2012, at his daughter's home in Magna, Utah. He was born to Leo and Sadie Martinez Rendon September 8, 1947 in Dixon, New Mexico.

He lived and was educated in Espinola, New Mexico and after schooling moved to Ogden, Utah. He served in the United States Army during the Viet Nam era and retired as a supply specialist from Hill AFB. He was a member of the Catholic church.

Mike enjoyed playing poker with his family and friends. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was an avid hunter and fisherman; he probably caught more fish out of Causey Reservoir than anyone.

He is survived by his mother, Sadie Rendon; brothers, Nelson Rendon (Gloria) and Kenny Rendon (Nadine); sister, Darlene Overton (John); daughter, Jennifer Rendon; a very special cousin, Bertha Medina; grandsons, Tyler Rendon (Kendra) and Josh Rendon; granddaughters, Marrisa, Tatiana, and Vannesa ; and great-grandchildren, Chole and Jackson.

He is preceded in death by his father, Leo Rendon and brother, Billy Rendon.

Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, at 2 pm at the St Joseph's Catholic Church, 514 24th Street, Ogden, Utah. Friends may visit with family Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 pm, with Holy Rosary at 7 pm, at Aaron's Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden, Utah
