Mildred Zawlacki

OGDEN-Mildred Zawlacki passed away April 9, 2011. She was born in Lehi, Arizona to William and Bessie Vickers Wood. She graduated High School in Escondido, CA., and shortly after enlisted in the Army during the Korean Conflict. Mildred married Francis Zawlacki in 1951, they settled in Santee, CA., and together they had four children. She was a member of the Catholic Church throughout her life. She loved to crochet, knit and donate the handmade items to local hospitals and care centers. She was a devoted General Hospital fan over many years. Mildred is survived by her four children; Adriene Elwood of Flagstaff, AZ., Richard Zawlacki of Alpine, CA., Kenneth Zawlacki of Holton, KS., Sharon Wilcox of Ogden, UT. and sister Doris Wheeler of Oswego, OR. She is also survived by six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Francis Zawlacki. Her cremains will be inurned by her husband in Hillcrest Cemetery, in Bessemer, MI.
