Nacey Lynn Darling

Nacey Lynn Darling, age 50, passed away peacefully at her home in Layton, Utah, on April 11, 2025.

Born in Ogden, Utah, Nacey brought light and laughter to those around her. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—spending time at the family cabin, cuddling with her beloved dogs, watching Lifetime movies, and lounging in her favorite pajamas.

Nacey is survived by her loving husband, Randy Darling; her father, Rick (Lou) Norton; her mother-in-law, Virginia Darling; her brother-in-law, Joe (Nicole) Darling; her sister-in-law, Tonya (Jason) Dodge; numerous nieces, nephews, and a great-niece — and her special friend, Kasidee (Chris) Barker.

Kasidee held a truly special place in Nacey’s heart. Their bond was filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support. Kasidee was not only a dear friend, but also a constant source of strength, comfort, and joy in Nacey’s life.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Gaylene, and her grandmother, Thelma.

A celebration of Nacey’s life will be held at a later date. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her warmth, humor, and the comfort she brought to those lucky enough to know her.
