Nancy June (Meier) Chantry went to be with The Lord on November 7, 2014 at McKay-Dee hospital in Ogden, Utah. She was born May 20, 1939 in Perrysburg, Ohio to Carl E. and Hazel (Ridgeway) Meier.
Nancy was a graduate of Perrysburg High School and went on to study at the University of Toledo. She worked in broadcasting and later with insurance for the Gleaner Life Insurance Company.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was active in Kiwanis and loved her church serving many missions over the years. She loved to see the children's faces when she played the role of Mrs Clause during the holidays. She was a talented artist that loved to sew and embroider gifts for everyone she knew. Her loving, caring, compassionate nature will be missed by many family and friends.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Donald Chantry; daughter, Loretta Ann Cox; son, Perry (Amanda) Cox of Morenci, MI; her sister, Carol (Ray) Norkowski of Perrysburg, Ohio; step-son, Donald and Susan Chantry of Ogden, UT; step-son, David (Theresa) Chantry of Roy, UT; step-son, Douglas Dean (Anna) Chantry of Puyallup, Washington and Debora (Eric) Jenson of Tendoy, Idaho.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 14, 2014, at 11 am at the North Ogden East 20th Ward, 3072 N 575 E, North Ogden, Utah. A viewing will be held Thursday evening, November 13, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm at Aaron’s Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden, Utah and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment Ben Lomond Cemetery, 526 E 2850 N, North Ogden, Utah 84414.
