ONITA LOUISE (SKORCZ) RAINFORD

Onita was born, March 16, 1948 in Ogden, Utah, where she resided the majority of her life; she graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1966 and attended Weber State.  She had her own cleaning service before she spent 20 years with Chromalox in the soldering, welding and heavy metals department before going out on disability.

Through many hardships and challenges in her life, Nita always faced them with a smile, grace and kindness toward others.  She encouraged those around her to go forward on their journey through this world.  She was a trusting sincere person, never complaining even when she was in pain or facing adversities. 

With her passing on July 2, 2014, she leaves behind her beloved Uncle Buddy Elliott; sisters, Patricia Wood of Cedaredge, CO; Jan Coyne-Jones of Long Beach, CA; a son, Scot; many nephews, a niece, great grandnieces, cousins and 9 grandchildren whom she adored and missed terribly.

A memorial service will be held Friday, August 8, 2014 at 2:00 pm at  Aarons Mortuary , 496 24^th Street, Ogden, Utah immediately followed by interment at Ogden City Cemetery with her grandparents, Vernon and Onita Louise Elliott.
