Pamela Jean Arave

Pamela Jean Arave passed away April 3, 2023 at McKay Dee Hospital.  She was born January 25, 1953 to Harold Moore & Mary McVey.

 

She moved to Ogden, UT with her family when she was very young, and was educated in the Ogden City School Districts. She married David Micheal Arave December 18, 1970 and together they had 3 children:  Christopher David Arave, Jamie Nelson (Brandi) Arave and Tricia Lynn Arave; they later divorced. 

 

Pam is survived by her children, Jamie and Tricia; 7 grandchildren: Darian Arave (Kendall), Dahson Arave (Kailee), Dalyn Kranendonk (Taylor), Presley Garry (Grant), Marissa Owens (Kevin), Andie Taylor (McKenzie), Rowan Fenton (Nick), and 9 great-grandchildren: Ryken Kranendonk, Roczen Kranendonk, Harper Kranendonk, Greyson Arave, Quinn Garry, Jamal Owens, Navessa Owens, Quincy Owens, Winter Fenton; and partner in crime since 6th grade, Patsy Charlesworth.

 

Pam was preceded in death by her parents, sister Vicki Lee Smith and her son Christopher. 

 

We would like to thank the staff at McKay Dee Hospital (ICU) for there support and and wonderful care of our mother and family during this difficult time. 

 

Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 11 am to 1 pm at Aaron's Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden, Utah.
