Patti "Hopper" left this life on October 14, 2017 to be with her husband "Norm Speechly." She was born on December 17, 1942 to Andrew and Marie Hopper in San Fernando Valley, California.
On December 10, 1983 she married Norman Speechly. They lived in Sylmar, California for many happy years. They moved to Ogden, Utah in 2009. They both loved traveling to places such as Spain, Alaska, Hawaii and Mexico.
She loved golfing, shopping and having family and friends over for special occasions. Her favorite thing was decorating her house for all the holidays. Christmas at her house was like walking through Santa's Village. It was magical lights everywhere.
She leaves behind her sister, Penelope Hopper, sister-in-law, MaxEne Tanner; brother-in-law, Steven (Diana) Speechly; step-daughter, Wendy (Ryan) Stromberg; many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; her best friends Denise and Belinda; and her little Dr/Nurse, Bostyn Olivia Smith. She lit up Auntie Hopper's life.
Preceding Patti in death are her husband; her parents; her sister-in-law, Christine Aldous and her grandparents, Gaga and Gugu Yolton.
We want to thank Symbii/Hospice, Steven Hyatt, Tania Maetas and Matt Bugnett; all the staff at Brookdale in North Ogden; and her friends Belinda Fierro and Erlinda Martinez for all the love and care they gave her.
A Celebration-of-Life will be held at the Barn Golf Course "The Pub" Friday, October 27, 2017 from 4 to 7 pm for family and friends.
