Paul Allen Bowden

May 4, 1963 — July 1, 2024

On July 1, 2024, the best husband in world, the best friend, brother, son, uncle, and life of the party left us for a new adventure. Paul fought so hard but lost his battle, passing away from complications of throat cancer.

Paul was born, raised, and lived in Bountiful, Utah. He attended Woods Cross High and Salt Lake Community College, and worked at Pond’s Plumbing as an HVAC, radiant heat, mechanical specialist.

Paul married the love of his life and best friend Shelly in 1984. They loved spending time together doing yard work, gardening, hiking, camping and anything outdoors, especially in the Uintah’s. They did not have children, but they always had great dogs. Paul absolutely loved his pets, family time, great food, loud music, dancing and his nieces and nephews. He ALWAYS loved being a giant kid. He was sixty-one going on twelve!

Anyone who knows Paul knows he’s Mr. Halloween! He loved holidays, parties, celebrating and having fun! He was always the life of the party! He was the king of Boondocks! The best Uncle ever! Every kid had fun adventures with Uncle Paul.

Survived by his loving wife and best friend, Shelly and Riggs, father, Bob (Peggy) Bowden, sister Jill, In-laws Don (Linda) Smith, Sheila (Troy), Cathy, Kerry, Don (Heather), and many much-loved nieces, nephews and aunts and uncles.

Preceded in Death by, mother, Loretta Bowden, brother Dan, and many beloved grandparents and aunts and uncles.

Paul completely enjoyed every minute of being alive, living life to its fullest. Now we are going to celebrate Paul’s life Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. at Oakridge Country Club, 1492 W. Shepard Ln, Farmington UT. Casual dress.

A special thank you to everyone at Pond’s Plumbing. Ralph, Jason, and Travis, you are all the absolute best, Paul genuinely loved you all and loved working with and for you.

To all of Paul’s friends at work, anytime you see Dracula, think of Paul.

Jake…keep riding.

An incredibly special thank you to Mark Cwalinski at Aaron's.
