Paul Duane Whaley

March 28, 1938 — January 31, 2025

Paul was born in Perry, Utah. His family later moved to Ogden, Utah.

He was the second of three children. He graduated from Ogden High School in 1956, where he won State Champion with the baritone horn. He later graduated from Stevens-Henager College with a degree in Accounting. He served in the Army and served in Italy.

He married Dorothy Ann Olsen on December 3, 1960. They were married for 64 years. They had 4 children. He enjoyed playing board and dice games and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Whaley; parents, Paul H. Whaley and Winifred Young Whaley; sister, Marcella W. Walker; and granddaughter, Alexis Dawn Whaley.

He is survived by his brother, Lee Whaley; his children: Craig (Tonya) Whaley, Susie Dillard, Paula (Keith) Hill, Ryan (Kristi) Whaley; 14 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren.
