Paul Zabolotney

December 1, 1917 — May 2, 2010

Paul J. Zabolotney

Paul took is first breath on the icy plains of North Dakota, December 1, 1917, and his last on the Ogden, Utah desert at dawn on May 2, 2010.

His was a life well lived. From the North Dakota farm, he went to serve his country proudly in the Pacific Theatre during WWII. For bravery he earned the Bronze Star with Oak Leaf clusters. Upon his return from war, his vocations and avocations of farming, carpentry and as a missionary volunteer for the Seventh-day Adventist took him to many states and countries. Everywhere, "whatsoever his hand found to do, he did it well." He never stinted on sharing the fruits of his labor or the generosity of his kind and loving spirit.

He leaves many sad hearts _ especially his wife of 64 years, Arlene; children, Arla, Terry, and Desta (Geo); four grandchildren and one brother. Having slept before him are his parents; two sisters, 4 brothers, and a daughter, Lynn.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Mountain Ridge Memory Unit for the love and kind care given to Paul.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, May 8, 2010, at 3 pm at the Ogden Seventh-Day Adventist Church at 22nd and Taylor.

In lieu of flowers, Paul would have appreciated support for his favorite volunteer building project. Maranatha International, 990 Reserve Dr, Suite 100, Roseville, CA 95678.
