Phillip Ronk

January 19, 1951 — May 8, 2010

Phillip "Grizz" Ronk, Sr. passed into eternity to be with the Lord on May 8, 2010. Phil was born to Calvin C. Ronk, Sr and Ona M. Fry in Cannonsberg, Pennsylvania on January 19, 1951.

Phil attended schools in California. Phil married Debbie Baxley and to that union was born Phillip Ronk, Jr. They later divorced. He then married Nadine Stokes and they later divorced. He then married Judy Wilde.

Phil worked for Parker Hannifin and later became self-employed. Phil loved to do track-hoe and back-hoe work for his company "Grizz Can Dig." Phil and Judy lived on their little "Piece of Paradise" in Evergreen, Huntsville, UT, which they built with their own hands. Phil was the happiest when he was on his mountain. Phil loved to hunt and fish with his boys.

Phil is survived by his wife Judy; sons, Phillip and Susie Ronk, Jr. of South Carolina, Dean and Becky Stokes of Pleasant View, R.C. and Felicia Wilde of Roosevelt, Cody and Rebekah Wilde of Ogden and seven grandchildren. Phil is also survived by his mother, Ona Ronk, of Ogden, a brother, Calvin (Pudgy) Ronk, Jr and Marian of Huntsville; a sister, Tami and Randy Sonner of Ogden. Phil was preceded in death by his beloved father and brother, Larry. Phil is also survived by his extended family and many close friends.

Funeral services will be held at The Christian Worship Center, 1720 Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT on Thursday, at 7 pm with Pastor Dead Sisk officiating, A viewing will be an hour prior to service from 6 -7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Christian Worship Center, 1720 Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT.

Grizz you were a Mountain Man at heart and you will be missed on this earthly mountain.
