“Together Again”

Phyllis Irene McCubbin Dunn passed away February 18, 2017.  Phyllis was born in Gowrie, Iowa.  She married Michael M. Dunn on April 26, 1947.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 58 years, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, 2 sisters in laws, 1 brother in law, and 1 niece.   She is survived by her two daughters, Diane (David) Lindley and Carolyn (Harry) Nicholas, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Her passion was her family.  She wanted to watch every sport event, dance event or activity that her family was a part of.  Phyllis loved family gatherings, wherever they might be, the desert, the mountains, up the canyon or in a park.  She has given us all so many memories.  She will be missed.

The family would like to thank all the caregivers at Lotus Park Care Center, McKay Dee Hospital, Thatcher-Brook Rehabilitation and Care Center, and CNS Hospice for their compassionate and loving care.  There were many great caregivers at each place that went out of their way to support Phyllis and the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation or a charity of your choice.

A Celebration of Phyllis’s Life for family and friends will be held at a later date.
