Raquel (Mama) Garcia

Aug 16, 1935-Aug 16, 2012

Today we celebrate the life of Raquel "Mama" Garcia of North Ogden, Utah. She entered heavens gates to join her Lord and Savior surrounded by her loving family on August 16, 2012. All who knew her were blessed by her presence, her miraculous faith, and her ability to show love. She was always eager to offer a soft touch or a sweet hug to bring a smile to each and everyone she met. We have been blessed to have such an amazing, beautiful mama, abuelita (Grandma) and friend.

She is survived in death by her children Patricia, Celia, Francisco (Paco), Linda, Angelica and Miguel Garcia-Wood, Monica, Ismael and Krista Garcia, Jr., Maria and Ramon Reyes and Manuel. She was blessed with many grandchildren Rufino, Veronica, Marco, Eric, Dion, Javencio, Amy, Ashley, Anthony, Paul, PJ, Jonathan, Gabriela, Victoria, Isaiah, Cristina, Garrick, Cristian, James, Ramon Jr., Jazmin, many other grand children and close family friend HM Kelly.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ismael Garcia Sr. and daughter Laura.

The family would like to thank all of the doctors and their staff who cared for her over the years and all of her special friends throughout her journey.

Her family and friends joined her in a celebration of life on August 16, 2012, prior to her passing.

Memorial photos can be viewed at winkbug.com. Prayers and condolences can be sent to mama@winkbug.com.

She will be in every rose we smell, every meal we share and every story we hear. Our hearts lost an angel and gained a spirit. We love you mama!
