Renae Shuman Odekirk

On May 8, 2009, ReNae (Murray) Shuman Odekirk returned home to her Heavenly Father. ReNae was born February 7, 1963 to George O. and Mary L. (Oliphant) Murray, in Roosevelt, Utah.

In life she was a charismatic, giving, loving woman. Her free spirited outlook on life couldn't help but get her up and dance when the music started. She loved the outdoors both to play in and work hard to beautify the world around her.

She touched many lives with her caring heart. ReNae was the greatest mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend anyone could ask for. She will be deeply missed and eternally loved by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children; Carolyn M. Denning, Miranda Lee Shuman, and Michael Joseph Shuman Jr., grandchildren; Dominik, GaeaLillian, and Draedyn Denning, and her husband Kim R. Odekirk.

ReNae was preceded in death by her mother Mary Leone Murray, her late husband Michael Joseph Shuman, and mother-in-law Genalee May Shuman.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Clinton 9th Ward, 2223 West 1800 No. Clinton, Utah. A viewing will be held from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to the service.

Interment will be in Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 S. Redwood Rd. Salt Lake City, UT.

A Memorial fund has been set up at Wells Fargo for the Shuman children.
