Renay P Thompson

SOUTH JORDAN - Pearl Renay Peart Thompson, 81, passed away February 10, 2014. Renay was born January 6, 1933 in Santaquin, Utah to Stephen and Edna Chapman Peart. She married Jarvie Thompson April 6, 1951 in Payson during which time they were blessed with 4 children; then later divorced. Renay enjoyed ceramics, crocheting, cactus gardening, and watching sports. While enjoying her retirement from Raytheon Aerospace. Renay loved spending time with her family and will dearly be missed. Renay is survived by her children Dixie (Dan) Lucas of South Jordan; Kerry (Jay) Barney of Pleasant Grove; Jill Curtis of West Valley; 11 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild; brothers Brant and Garth Peart, sister Nila Cloward. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Kim Thompson, grandson Derik Migliaccio and a great-grandson Remington Curtis. We would like to thank Legacy House of South Jordan and Brighton Hospice for their loving care. A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 3 pm at the Santaquin City Cemetery, Santaquin, Utah.
