Renon Shepherd Davis
1942-2023

Renon was called home to our Heavenly Father at 4:39 p.m. on Sunday, December 31, 2023.

Renon was born on November 18, 1942, in Provo, Utah to her loving parents
Don Gull Shepherd and Deon Lucille Hawkes Shepherd. Her father joined the Navy in the middle of World War II, and the family relocated to Downy, California where she finished her elementary and secondary education graduating from Earl Warren high school in 1961.

Renon was married to the love of her life, and eternal companion Bob Davis on March 29, 1969, in Anaheim, California. She achieved the pinnacle of married life when, in 1976 she and Bob were sealed in the Salt Lake City, Utah Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

A life-long member of The Church of Jesus Christ, Renon held various callings throughout her life, but her favorite calling came when she had the opportunity to serve a mission with her husband in Victorville, California from 2006-2009.

Renon had many creative talents which she used to bring happiness to her loved ones and all those who were in need. She was a fantastic cook and seamstress and kept her family well fed and clothed. She also was an extremely talented Yarner:  She was the most Knitfarious person I’ve ever known!

She was preceded in death by her Father (Don Shepherd), Mother (Deon Shepherd), younger Brother (Keith Shepherd), and Stepmother (Vivian Head Shepherd).

A loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Renon is survived by her sister (Colleen Shepherd); eight children; Ryan (Tammy) Davis, Leanne (Matt) Diangelo, Rob Davis, Eldon (Kristen) Davis, Tim (Stephanie) Davis, Nate (Emily) Davis, Corey (Laura) Davis, and Andrew Davis; 20 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

She will be sorely missed by all those left behind.
