Richard L Spencer

OGDEN a€" Richard L. Spencer passed away July 29,2013 in Ogden, UT. He was born September 4,1924 in Sandy, UT to Joseph Horn and Netta Mae Spencer. He married Lucille Murchison on October 22, 1945. Richard was in the U.S. Navy during WWII and worked as a glazier until the beginning of the R.L. Spencer & Sons family business where he worked until retirement. He led an exemplary life and was loved and respected by all who knew him. He enjoyed hunting, camping, traveling, and spending time with his family. Richard is survived by his children, Brenda Brown, Don Spencer (Kaye), Dennis Spencer (Colleen), seven grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren. , A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Aaron's Mortuary 496 24th St. in Ogden, UT. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. Cremation is under the direction of Aaron's Mortuary and Crematory, 496 24th St.
