Richard Brent Weaver, Jr. passed away on October 11, 2013 due to cancer. He was born January 12, 1952 in Ogden, Utah, a son of Richard Brent and Marion Wells Weaver. He married Sherie Morman in 1970. They were later divorced. He worked as a diesel mechanic, and enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He also loved spending time with his family and friends. Dad lived a full life and did things on his own terms. He is survived by his two sons, Dustin (Gentry) Weaver and Richard (Diane) Weaver, and two daughters, Terisa (Bill) Bandewie and Mindi (Shawn) Young; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; five brothers, Roger (Stephanie) Weaver, David (Karen) Weaver, Doug (Theresa) Weaver, Paul (Alora) Weaver, Phillip (Sami) Weaver; and his sister, Kathy(Roger) Dickson. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, his sister Kris Weaver, and his two best friends (dogs), Digger and Cloie. (Dad, we know you and Digger and Cloie are out there roaming the mountains and having a good time.) The family would like to thank his best friends Kim and Echo for being there so much in his last days. A gathering for family and friends will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013 from 1 to 3 pm at the Hooper LDS Church, 5375 S. 5900 W., Hooper, Utah. In lieu of flowers, donations at the service would be greatly appreciated to help with funeral expenses
