In Loving Memory of Ricky Ellis Orosco
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Ricky, who left us far too soon at the age of 23. A cherished son, brother, and friend, Ricky touched the lives of all who knew him with his quiet strength and loving spirit.
Ricky had a deep passion for cars and sports, often spending his time discussing the latest games or dreaming about the next car project. He had a curious palate and loved exploring different restaurants, always on the lookout for a new favorite dish. His nephews were the light of his life, and he found immense joy in being their uncle.
Though he was a man of few words, those close to him knew the depth of his kindness and the warmth of his presence. His caring nature was evident in every relationship he nurtured. Ricky also had a love for music that resonated deeply within him, often losing himself in his favorite songs. He also found relaxation and fun in video games, a hobby he shared with friends and family alike.
Ricky enjoyed fishing and hiking, finding peace in nature’s beauty. He loved spending time with his brothers, Sammy and Tony, with whom he shared countless adventures, from driving together to lighting fireworks during special occasions. He was also a passionate collector of Jordans, always on the lookout for the next pair to add to his collection.
Above all, Ricky was fiercely protective of his sisters: Chantelle, Vanessa, and Leah, loving them deeply and always looking out for them. He had a special appreciation for the simple beauty of life, often taking time to admire sunsets, a moment of calm in his busy life.
Ricky was a proud graduate of ATC, where he honed his skills and prepared for the future. He had dreams of attending the University of Utah, eager to continue his education and pursue his passions further.
Ricky will be remembered for his gentle soul, his loyalty, and the way he made everyone around him feel valued and loved. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is survived by his loving family, including his parents, Eric Orosco and Suzanne Valdez; siblings: Chantelle Valdez, Patrick Prebble, Vanessa Orosco, and Leah Orosco; 6 nephews; aunts and uncles; and a wide circle of friends who were like family to him.
