Ricky Marvin Russell

Ricky Marvin Russell was called home January 7, 2025. He was born to Marvin Blair Russell and Vaunda Rae Kranendonk Russell on July 10, 1964. 

A true Ogden man, Rick was a graduate of Bonneville High and spent his life living in the Ogden area. 

Rick was an entrepreneur, owning and operating a western wear store for a number of years. Later, while working for Hinckley Dodge of Ogden and Dillard's, he would be recognized regionally for his sales acumen and achievements. This was largely due to his humor and genuine approach with customers. Rick loved his work and made truly meaningful relationships with both his customers and coworkers. 

He had a passion for sports, especially football. He celebrated backyard and fan victories alike. He loved westerns, history and aviation. 

Rick was an endowed member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. 

Rick is survived by his son Zachary (Megan), grandchildren Coen, Olive and August, his mother, his brothers, Randy, Ron (Coleen), and Rod (Faye), his sisters, Rochelle (Dave), Rhonda (Tony), Robyn (Mike), and Raeni (Aran). He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Roxanne. 

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the South Weber 10th Ward at 1814 E 7775 S, South Weber, Utah.
