Robert 'Bob' Thomas Nelson

Robert passed away Monday, November 18, 2024, one week after the death of his father due to complications from Diabetes. He was the son of J Newell Nelson and Edwina “Jo” Berryman Nelson. He passed away in Ogden, Utah at “The Terrace at Mt. Ogden Nursing Home” where he received excellent care until his death.

He attended Valley View Elementary, T.H. Bell Jr. High, and Weber Vocational High School where he graduated with honors.

He worked in Construction most of his working life. He was a great artist like his father. He loved to fish with his father and brothers. In his earlier healthier years, he loved physical fitness and body building. He was a member of the LDS Church. He previously lived at St. Benedict Manor and had many friends there. Bob was so loved and so much fun to be around as he had a humorous nature and saw life in a positive manner.

He is survived by 5 children: Chirstopher A. Nelson, Jason L. Nelson, Nicholas D. Nelson, Willow Rose Nelson and Shasta Marie Nelson; Grandchildren, and one Great, Grandchild; his mother, Edwina Jo Nelson; 3 brothers and 2 sisters, John Nelson, Scott Nelson, Mike Nelson, Susan Bistline and Leisa D. Nelson. He was preceded in death by his father just 7 days ago, J Newell Nelson, his grandparents, Edward Lee and Rose Elva Berryman and Marvin William Nelson and Rosa Marie Nelson.

As per his request no services will be held, private family services will be held at a later date. Condolences may be sent to Aaron’s Mortuary, 496-24th St., Ogden, Utah 84401 in care of Jo Nelson.
