ROBERT L. CURTIS March 4, 1927 a€" February 21, 2014 Robert (Bob) L. Curtis (86) passed away on Friday, February 21, 2014 at his home in Washington Terrace. Bob was born on March 4, 1927 in Malad, Idaho a son of Leland D and Ruth Thomas Curtis. His family moved to Ogden when Bob was a boy where he lived the rest of his life. Bob enlisted and served in the US Navy. He was a cartoonist by trade and was noted for his artistic abilities. He was an avid fisherman, a collector of coins, baseball cards, and treasures found metal detecting. Bob was a cherished Uncle to Kelly, Chris, Carey, Jana and Shelley and was a prominent figure in their childhoods. Surviving are his brothers: L. Dee Curtis, Gary D. Curtis (Pat) and sister Lana McCracken. He was preceded in death by his parents and younger brother Darwin Curtis. The family wishes to thank Jana Martinez for her tender and loving care of Bob during his final weeks. Per his request, there will be no funeral service. Cremation under direction of Aaron's Mortuary. Interment at a later date in Hyrum Cemetery.
