Robert Glade Harrison

Robert Glade Harrison passed away peacefully on October 3, 2019 in Bountiful, Utah with his sweet wife and other loved ones by his side.  He had struggled for months with an unidentifiable illness. 

He was born August 3, 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Glade Steele and Grace Rebecca Robinson. The family moved to Cal8ifornia when he was very young and moved to Brigham City, Utah when he was seven. 

He was educated in the Brigham City, and graduated from Box Elder High School in 1964. He attended Utah State after High School and then was called to the Western Canada Mission where he spent most of his time working with the First Nations People.  He graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in theater performance management. He then moved to Santa Barbara, California to work in his field.e TTENE

He came back to Utah.  Because he had a lifelong love affair with reading and books, he opened a bookstore.  He worked as a Salt Lake City Cab driver while pursuing his teaching credentials through Weber State University. He then taught in Schools in Utah, New Mexico, and Nevada.  He eventually became a teacher at Clearfield Job Corps Center where he retired from in 2014.

He married Ruth Blubaugh (later divorced), He married June Stoddard (deceased), (later divorced). After being alone for many years he met THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE Christine Jacobson when they were both teaching at Clearfield Job Corp center.  They were married and sealed on November 3, 2016 in the Ogden LDS temple.

He is survived by his loving wife Christine and his siblings: Janet Harrison, Jim (Barbara) Harrison, Patricia (Steve) Larsen, Rebbie (Doug) Hudson, Frank Harrison, and David (Danielle) Harrison; brothers and sisters- in law, Stephen and Joy Jacobson, and Myron and Marie Seegmiller.

Preceded in death by his parents, Glade and Grace Harrison and wife’s parents, Earl Perry and Marjorie Jacobson.

The Family would like to thank the staff at both Lakeview Hospital and Thatcher Brook Care center for their great care for Bob and his family.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 11 am at Aaron's Mortuary located at 1050 South State in Clearfield, Utah. There will be a viewing held Friday, October 11, 2019 from 6 t0 8 pm and from 10 to 1045 am Saturday morning prior to the service at the mortuary.    Interment Clearfield City
