Robert W. Harvath was reunited with his beloved eternal companion on February 26, 2016 at the age of 85 of natural causes. He was born June 24, 1930 to John and Anna Harvath in Monroe, Michigan.
He married Donna Norris in 1958. They were married for 47 beautiful years, raising four children before she passed away in 2005.
Robert retired from the Army with 20 years of honorable service and later retired from Hill AFB.
He served both in Korea and Vietnam. While serving in the Army the family lived in Virginia, Texas, California and Germany and always considered Utah home.
His Wife and family were the only things he loved more than golf. He also loved to travel, the out-of-doors, fishing and hunting. He was an avid reader and read one or two books a week. Also enjoyed playing cards and most fond of cribbage and pinochle.
He is survived by three children: Karen May, Mike (Jay’ne) Lucas and Dale (Donna) Harvath; 15 grand-children, 34 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife and son, Steve Lucas.
At Dad's request a Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at 9:30 am at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd, Ogden, Utah.
