As was his way, Robert Scott Iverson left this mortal world quietly and unexpectedly at home in Eden, Utah, on November 13, 2011. He was 58. Bob was born August 23, 1953 to Ivan Charles and Nihla Marie Iverson and raised in Clearfield and Layton, Utah.
Considered a mechanical genius by those who knew him well, Bob took great pride in the talent that resided in his hands. Almost from the time he could grasp a screwdriver, Bob was constantly tearing things apart to discover how they worked. This natural curiosity served Bob well. After graduating from Layton High in 1971, he used his talent and mechanical training as Chief Engineer at Stein Eriksen Lodge at Deer Valley and rebuilding and repairing computers at ComputerPro.com. He later helped Nancy Elliott with her two companies: Keeper of the House and Valley EComm in Eden, UT. He was well known for his capability to repair anything. He was cherished by the clients.
Bob loved spending time at Island Park, ID. He was truly at peace when he was camping or fishing from the boat he had restored. Bob's kindness, willingness to work and genuine helpfulness to others were endearing qualities. He put his own life on hold and showed great love and compassion in caring for his elderly mother for many years. At the time of his passing Bob was living with his dear companion in life, Nancy Elliott. Bob had been previously married to Peggy Innes and later to Nancy Lyn Holmes.
Bob is survived by Nancy Elliott; his sons: Erik Scott, William Robert (Bill) and Trevor Scott; by his brothers: Ned, Dave and Mike and sisters: Karen (Williams) and Kristin (Smith). He will be greatly missed!
