Robert F. Lowe, Jr, 82 years young, passed peacefully on the evening of June 29, 2022, in Farmington Utah after a short battle with cancer. His son Ryan was able to visit him and spend some time with him a few weeks before his passing. All four of his daughters spent his last few days with him, right by his side, helping him to find some comfort as he transitioned and, eventually, joined his loved ones who took the stairs to Heaven before him.
Bob was born August 8, 1939, in Macon Georgia, to Robert F. Lowe, Sr., and Eleanor Miller Lowe.
He spent most of his younger years living in New York and Pensacola, Florida. At the tender age of 17, he joined the United States Air Force. Bob went on to serve 20+ years and proudly retired as a Master Sergeant.
Bob married his first wife, Shirley Lowe, whom he met in Louisiana. They had 2 sons; Chris and Vincent. He met his second wife, Kay Lowe, while stationed in Florida at Eglin Air Force Base. They had 3 daughters; Melinda, Melanie and Michelle. Years later, while stationed at Hill Air Force Base, he met his third and last wife, Kathy Lowe. They had 2 children; a son, Ryan and a daughter, Stephanie.
After retiring from the Air Force, Bob enrolled in college at Weber State "College" before it was an official University. He graduated with his Bachelors Degree in Psychology. He then began work with the State of Utah Job Service as a Veterans Representative, working in Clearfield and Salt Lake City. During the 1990's, for a couple of years, he worked in Washington DC for the Federal Veterans Association.
Bob described himself as an advocate and supporter of our Military Veterans and was extremely passionate about his work.
Bob is survived by 2 of his sons; Chris of Louisiana and Ryan (Christy) of South Carolina, and his 4 daughters; Melinda, Melanie (Mark,) and Michelle, all from Georgia, and his youngest daughter, Stephanie of Utah. He is also survived by his 8 beautiful grandchildren; Jacqueline Brooks, Gabrielle Grest, Isabelle Grest, Elias Lowe, Naimah Rahmaan, Phoenix Lowe, Steven Foulger and Sarah Foulger; and his sister, Mary Eleanor Lowe. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Vincent and his son-in-law Scott Grest.
A memorial service will be held at a later date; where Robert will receive full military honors. In lieu of flowers, his children ask that donations be made in his name to the Utah Veterans at

For those of you who had the immense pleasure of knowing our Daddy, I'm sure you can agree when we say that we were blessed! And (in a Donald Duck voice,) he would have said "Buh-Bye!"
