Robert Kevin Rindlisbacher

Robert Kevin Rindlisbacher died unexpectedly February 10, 2022 at McKay Dee hospital. He was 61 years. He was born October 31, 1960 in Idaho Falls Idaho.
Robert was the 4th of 5 children born to Dean Rindlisbacher and Mary Jane Johnson. His parents divorced when he was 3. He resided mainly in Utah and Idaho. He moved to Ogden in 1992 to be with his adopted family. Robert worked at the Forest Service through Enableutah since 1998. Robert loved his job and coworkers so much he would on many occasions ride his bike to work.

Robert enjoyed many things in life, he was an avid fisherman, loved working on electronics, camping, and 4 wheeling. But most of all loved his stepchildren, nieces, nephews, and grand babies. He always went out of his way to make them feel safe, loved, entertained, and cared for. He never failed at any task he set out to do, and made the best of every situation and was a source of joy. He always went out of his way to say hi, what’s up, how ya doing, generally caring for all. His absence leave a tremendous hole in our lives. He was a friend, father figure and a wonderful grandfather.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Annette Marie Rindlisbacher, . his grandparents LeRoy and Isabell Rindlisbacher and Earl and Ivy Johnson, sister-in-laws Wendy Zeluf, Sheila Batchelor and brother-in-law Craig Zeluf.

He is survived by two sisters Shirley Buist, Tamera Ricks (Clay), and a brother Brent Rindlisbacher. He is also survived by many special friends, Shari Zeluf and her 3 children who he regarded as his own, 9 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Robert’s funeral will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 11:00 am with viewing prior to the funeral from 10:00 to 10:45  am at Aaron’s Mortuary 496 24th St, Ogden Utah 84401.
