See, I told ya I was sick! Robert Grant Young was born September 26th, 1930 in Ogden, Utah. He died March 24th, 2013 in Ogden. He was surrounded by his family that all loved him dearly. He was born to Margaret Adams Young and Orlando Samuel Young. He had 2 brothers: Woodrow (Elaine) Young both deceased and James (VaLoy) Young of Arizona. Bob went in the Navy when he was 17 and finished his high school education while enlisted. He was on the Valley Forge air craft carrier for four years. Upon returning home he pursued the girl he loved next door (Barbara Ann Bench), and with his wit and charm won her heart. The two married on February 16th, 1953. Their love grew as each of their three exceptional children were born: Debra Ann Young Martineau (Bruce), Richard Kevin Young (MaryLou), and Pamela Robin Young Jones (Clifford). These three children gave Bob his loving grandchildren whom later gave him his great-grandchildren. Bob was a private pilot, an avid golfer, and loved boating as well as building boats. He was always there for everyone and could make or fix just about anything. He helped with everything from building houses to tearing them down, and always took care of the wiring. Debra's children and grandchildren: Kristen Ann Dains Lesberg (Mark) children: Chloe Ann and Owen David; Jeannie Marie Dains Bloemen (Alex) child: Reese Alexander;Andrew Alexander; Angela Marie Bigler Wilder (Robbie) child:Jaxon Robert; Brooklyn McKenna.
