Rodney Lance Farrer (1966-2023)

Rodney Lance Farrer, 57 passed away on November 8, 2023
after a courageous battle with metastatic melanoma.
Rodney was born to Stan and MaryJane Farrer, on March 1,
1966 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was the 4 th of 7 children. He is
survived by his brothers, Barry (Louise), Tony (Sylvia), Jason
(Patty), Greg, and his sister Michelle Riddle (Ryan).
Rodney grew up in Salt Lake City graduating from Granite High
School in 1984. After high school, he joined the US Army where
he served honorably from 1984 to 1993.
Rodney married Katie Graham on August 18, 2000 in
Farmington. He is survived by his loving wife Katie and their
children, Kiersten (Skyler) Opfar, Carson (20) and Isabella (14).
Rodney is survived by his in-laws, Richard and LeAnn Bushnell
as well as Katie’s siblings, Tom and April Graham, Roger and
Vickie Graham, Sara and Eric Huntsman as well as many nieces
and nephews.
Rodney is preceded in death by his parents and his brother
Matt.
A private celebration of Rodney’s life will be held with his close
family and friends.

Johnson from Intermountain Cancer Center, and Dr. Michael Nielsen from Intermountain Layton Clinic for all of their care
and support during this difficult time.
