Roger Neill Meister, 60, passed away at home on the morning of May 18, 2023 with his wife and children at his side. He was born on December 17, 1962 to Cornelius “Neill” and Judith Meister. He was a retired HVAC engineer. He married his high school sweetheart Heidi Meister and they raised 3 children together. Roger was a loving husband and son, brother, and a devoted father and grandfather.
He was born to be a family man. There was no job he took more seriously nor loved more than being dad and papa. When his children were growing up he would take his family on as many camping and boating trips as possible which lead to uncountable adventures over the years. Roger was a unique, passionate, loving man with a rare and unbending integrity. He was also a man of many talents which included mechanics, drumming, and being the ultimate problem solver. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. Ralph Waldo Emerson said “To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. That is to have succeeded.” - Roger's life was full of nothing but success.
He is survived by his wife Heidi, their children Cody, Breann, and MarKee, and his grandchildren Rylee and Riker. He is preceded in death by his father Neill.
