Roger Wells Weaver

Roger Wells Weaver, 63, passed away peacefully at home Friday November 11, 2016 after a battle with melanoma. He was born May 4, 1953 to Richard B. and Marion Wells Weaver and was raised and educated in Davis County.

Roger married Stephanie Woolsey on July 30, 1971 in Layton, Utah. He enjoyed anytime he spent outside tending to his garden, camping, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was looked up to and loved by his children and grandchildren, and taught all of us to be kind and hardworking people.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Weaver, West Point;  his children, Candace (Hyrum) Stoddard, Clinton; Shawn Weaver, Clearfield; David Weaver, West Point; Amber Weaver, West Point; and his six grandchildren. He is also survived by his four brothers, David C  of Layton; Doug (Theresa) of Warren; Paul (Alora of West Haven; Phillip of Kaysville; and by his sister, Kathy (Roger) Dickson of West Point.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Kristine; and his brother,  Richard B. Jr.

There will be no traditional services held.
