Roger Andrew Young

Roger Andrew Young, died peacefully in this sleep, October 19, 2016. He was born in Providence, Rhode Island, March 18, 1949.

He joined the Air Force in 1968 and proudly served his country for 20 years, until 1988 when he retired from Hill Air Force base.  During this time he met the love of his life Henrietta Mata. They were married October 10, 1970 and celebrated their 47th anniversary before passing.   He was a great man, husband and father.   He loved to be with his family, singing and dancing.

Roger  is survived by his wife, Henrietta (Linda) Young and three children: Lori (Lawrence) Lobato, Matthew Young and Michael (Sabrina) Young;  ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Irene;  father, Clifton; and five siblings.

A Celebration-of- Life  will be held Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 12 pm  at Aaron’s Mortuary, 1050 South State Street, Clearfield, Utah. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Roger's Life.
