Ronald Michael Cowdrick

Son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, friend. Ron was born July 19, 1945 at Ft Benning, GA to Don and Anna Suklje Cowdrick. He passed away December 31, 2013. The family lived in Pennsylvania until 1967 when they moved to Utah. Ron served four years in the Navy during the Vietnam War on the USS Diamondhead . He met Paula Grover and in 1970 the couple were married. They had two children and were married 22 years. Ron enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and travel. His is survived by his mother (Anna), brother (Tim), daughter, son-in-law and grandson (Colleen, Jeff & Austin), son and daughter-in-law (Claine & Janice). He is preceded in death by his father (Donald). Ron will be missed greatly; his generosity touched the lives of many people. The family would like to thank Inspiration Hospice. Friends and family may pay their respects Saturday, January 11, 2014 from 2-5 pm at the Syracuse 1st Ward located at 720 S 2500 W in Syracuse, UT.
