Ronald T. Hennessy, born April 23, 1955, passed away on January 18, 2024 at the age of
68 at the Mckay-Dee Hospital ICU unit at 4:50 pm surrounded by family. He was a wonderful
caring husband, great father, and best friend who will be greatly missed. Ron grew up in Ogden,
Utah and graduated from Ben Lomond High school with a GED. He was also in the army
reserves. Before retiring, he worked for Ogden City as a plumber and also was a reserved police
officer for Ogden City as well. Ron was an avid bowler and bowled two perfect 300 games
where he was featured in the newspaper. He also competed in the nationals in Reno, Nevada. He
loved to work outdoors in the garden and had a green thumb. He loved all kinds of sports and
was a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan. He also loved the chicken from Maddox Ranch House
and the “Top Gun” movie franchise. He could make you laugh all the time. He is survived by his
wife Felicia of 27 years, his daughter Chelsie, his sons; Chris, Jared, and Ron, his brothers Gary (Nancy), Scott
(Jenny), Mike (Pam), Tom (Debbie) and his sister Ronna. Plus many nieces and nephews, and
two grandchildren he never met. We would like to thank the nurses and aids at the Mckay-Dee
Hospital ICU unit for their help, especially Dr. Jason Staley and nurses Justin and Trey who were
there for him the most. He will surely be missed very much. We will always love him forever.
There will be no viewing or funeral due to him being directly cremated.
