 Ronald Eugene Nelson

Ronald Eugene Nelson was born on October 9, 1945 in El Centro, California to Chester and Mary Alice Kirk Nelson while he was stationed in San Diego, California in the USMC.

They moved to Florida and then to Indiana where Ron graduated from Pittsboro High School in Pittsboro, Indiana in 1965.

He joined the USAF in 1965 on the "Buddy System."  Ron served in England where he met his first wife Linda Kidd and they had their three children. Ron also was in Italy and Pakistan.  Ron was in the IS AT from 1965 to 1980.

Back in the States he served mostly in Texas and Utah.

Linda and Ron were divorced in 1979.

Ron met Carolyn Marker and they were married in Indianapolis, Indiana on December 30, 1991.
They moved to Clearfield, Utah in August of 1994.

Ron worked at Internal Revenue Service for awhile. He then retired.

Ron's grandparents, parents and son "Gino" preceded him in death.

Those surviving Ron's death beside his wife Carolyn are his siblings Dave (Linda), Jeff (Joyce) and Mark Nelson. Also his two daughters, Julie Erskine and Tina Agnew (Mike), grandchildren and great-grand-children.

I would like to thank our neighbors Brian and Kyelee for giving Ron CPR until the EMT's arrived and being there for me since. They are what you call a good, caring neighbor.

I also want to thank a friend of ours that Ron and Manny always called each other "BRO" no matter what. Manny and Frankie Martinez were there and always have been. They are great friends.

Ron was my best friend for the twenty-seven years that we were together. I hope that he is at peace and that all his demons are gone now.
