Ronald Edwin Nopper

October 2, 1935- April 7, 2016

            Ronald “Ron” Edwin Nopper passed away on April 7, 2016 in Casper, Wyoming.  He was born on October 2, 1935 in Ogden, Utah to Cyril E Nopper and Verna L Stimpson.  He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints.

He grew up up in Ogden, graduated from Ogden High (‘53) and Utah State University receiving a Bachelor's in Animal Husbandry. He was employed in Industrial Chemical Sales in Montana, Nevada and Wyoming. He was also was a Census Taker for the US Census Bureau.

            Ron enlisted in the US Marines in 1959 and served as a Lance Corporal USMCR

            Ron loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hiking, fishing, hunting and backpacking in Wyoming.

            Ron is survived by his brother Gene Nopper, sister- in-law Helene Nopper and his 3 nieces, Maureen Nopper, Suzanne Nopper and Kathleen Hitz, and one nephew Jeffrey Nopper.

             He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Carol Ann.

            A viewing will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 6 to 8 pm at Aaron's Mortuary, 496 24th Street, Ogden Utah.  Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 15,2016 at 11 am at Mountain View Cemetery, Pocatello, Idaho.
