Ronnie Dean Snorgrass

November 19, 1973 — January 7, 2014

Ronnie Dean Snorgrass Jr., 40, of Clearfield, UT passed away on Tuesday, 7 January 2014 at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, UT. Ronnie suffered for 17 years with Congestive Heart Failure and infections. He fought a long hard battle. He was with his mother and father when he passed.

Ronnie was born 19 Nov 1973 at Edwards Air Force Base, CA. He is survived by his parents, Pamela and Ron of Clearfield, UT, a brother, Sean, his wife Kirsten and two nephews, Luke, 11 and Jayce, 2 of Lehi, UT. Other survivors are his maternal grandparents, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ronnie always wanted to please others and be accepted. He had such a huge heart. On Sunday, 5 January, Ronnie removed his oxygen mask so his nephews wouldn't be scared which allowed Ronnie one last chance to play and talk with them. Ronnie loved to wrestle with Luke and Jayce, play games on the iPad and listen to music.

Ronnie graduated from Caesar Rodney High School, Dover, DE in 1992. He graduated from Clearfield Job Corp after learning to be a union carpenter and a Certified Nursing Assistant. He also attended Park College and Weber State University for a short time. Within days of 23th birthday in 1996, Ronnie was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure.

Ronnie was an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America, a Brotherhood member in the Nentego Lodge of the Order of the Arrow and a Life Member of National Eagle Scout Association. He loved to spend his summers in Germany at Camp Freedom Boy Scout Camp as a Junior Counselor. He was also a member of Civil Air Patrol.

Ronnie loved to wrestle, roller skate, golf, play pool and most of all bowl. He had several near perfect score's while bowling during league games. He was awarded a ring for a 299 game of bowling. His biggest frustration in life was toward the end, he was not able to get out and do the things he loved. He loved people and was always talking to people nationwide. He was easy to love. He loved jokes and always wanted to give things to people.

Ronnie is now free and able to walk with his beloved pet dog, Baby Goofy. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jack and Irene Snorgrass.

Ronnie was cremated and private services for the family are pending.

The family would like to thank everyone that helped us during this time. The Clearfield Fire Department, Davis County Sheriffs Paramedics, McKay-Dee Hospital ER Staff, and his ICU Teams. You all made a valiant effort.
