Roy Seldon Ziegenhirt

Roy Ziegenhirt (Ziggy) passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2009. He was born on November 19, 1940 to Paul and Naomi Nelson Ziegenhirt in San Jose, California.

He married Coyla Harris, they later divorced.

Roy was raised in San Jose, California then made his home Ogden, Utah. He worked at HAFB for forty years.

He enjoyed riding his Harley, fishing, the outdoors, traveling with his very good friends, Bob and Pat Reeder, and listening to his oldies music. The things he enjoyed the most was spending time with his kids and being apart of their lives.

Roy is survived by one son; Roy Ziegenhirt, two daughters; Gina (Rudy) Gentil, Brandi Wilding (Terry Stoffers), nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Roy is also survived by three brothers; Carl ( Linelle) Ziegenhirt, Lee (Judy) Ziegenhirt, Ralph (Sandy) Ziegenhirt.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents.

The family would like to say thanks to all of the staff at Wasatch Care for the love they showed our father, and also to Vistacare for their support.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. A viewing will be . from 9:00-10:30 a.m. prior to the service at Aarons Mortuary, 1600 Washington Blvd. Ogden, Utah.

Interment will be in Ogden City Cemetery.
