Rubye Stacy Moore

NO. OGDEN-Rubye S. Moore, formerly of Longview, Texas, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2009, at Crestwood Care Center in Ogden, Utah, of causes incident to age. Rubye was born August 22, 1910, to Arthur and Ida Burton Carler Wall, in Newport, Texas.

On November 13, 1927, she married Russell McDonald and had one child, Reba Nell. Rubye later divorced and married John T. Moore in May, 1947.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Russell; her second husband, John; and her daughter, Reba Nell McDonald Perkins.

Rubye resided with her son-in-law, Vernon Perkins, for more than seven years, and he and Rubye's granddaughter, Lola P. Parker, cared for Rubye during that time until her failing health made it necessary for Rubye to reside at Crestwood Care Center.

The family would like to thank the staff at IHC Hospice, especially Julia Lee, and the staff at Crestwood Care center, especially the nurses and CNA's, for their loving care and attention.

Also, many thanks are extended to the Relief Society of the North Ogden 13th Ward, whose members visited Rubye regulary over the years.

Rubye will be cremated under the direction of Aaron's Mortuary and Crematory, after which her remains will be interred in the Moore family's private cemetery in Longview, Texas.
