Sally Ann Colvell

Ogden - Sally Ann Colvell, 77, passed away 14 July 2010 with her family by her side at McKay Dee Hospital. She was born July 15th 1932 in Ogden, Utah, a daughter of Lyle and Florence E. Story Blakeley. Sally married William F. Colvell on June 9th 1950 in Ogden and was a member of the LDS Church. She had a great love for her family. She worked for Jetway for many years. Sally had a quick wit and was always a lot of fun to be around. She could tell a story and make you laugh. She made friends wherever she went. Sally is survived by her husband of 60 years; one daughter, Debbie Schrader (West Plains, MO); and two sons, Fred (Jana) Colvell, Plain City, and Brad (Susan) Colvell (South Weber); 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving are her brother, Jack C. Blakeley (Ogden); sisters, JoAnn Parrish and Lila Thornton (Castorville, CA) and Jolee Pagano (Salt Lake City). She was preceded in death by one grandson, Brett C. Stoddard and one brother, Lyle W. Blakeley (Chub). There will be a Meet and Greet with family and friends on Monday, 19 July 2010, between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m. at the Larkin Mortuary, 496 24th St. Ogden.
