Sanley Clive Winters

Stanley Clive Winters, 83, Ogden, Utah passed away at home on Friday, June 27, 2014.

He was born in Chester, Idaho to Jennie and Oscar Winters.  Stanley graduated from Weber High School, May 1949; he joined the Navy, 1949; he graduated  from Utah State College in 1956.

Stanley married Martha Janet Eggen, August 16, 1955; they later divorced.  They had five children, Stanley Ward, baby Winters (deceased), Ward, Wendy and Todd.

Stanley worked at Union Oil, Cutrubus (Layton), retired from IRS.  He was a 35-year member of the Roy FOE where he was past president of the Box Elder FOE.

Stanley leaves behind his long-time companion, best-friend, love of his life, Suzette Goodwin; children,  Ward Winters, Ruth NV; Wendy Egbert, Logan, Utah; Todd (Susan), Hyrum, Utah; sister, Beth (Dennis) Wheelwright, San Jose, CA; 3 grandsons,  Shane, Wesley, Cody; 5 great-grandchildren; best friend, Sam (Dolores) Cayias, Salt Lake City, UT; friend, Ben Williams; and best buddies, Brandy and Radar.

Cremation entrusted to  Aarons Mortuary of Ogden.

Private graveside services for family and friends at North Ogden Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, family asks that donations be made to Make-A-Wish  Foundation.
