May 28, 1934 – July 22, 2017

Sally was born on May 28, 1934 into the loving family of Arnold Deloss and Martha Bradshaw Bunderson on the family farm in Stone, Idaho. She was part of a large family which included nine siblings. Sally returned to her Heavenly Father on July 22, 2017.

At the age of seven, she and her family moved to Ogden, Utah. Sally loved school and was a graduate of Ogden High School where she was student body secretary. She was proud to be a Tiger. She also attended Weber Junior College on a drama scholarship.

She left school to start her career as a secretary where her typing and shorthand skills were second to none. Sally took great pride in her professional career and worked for several successful companies. She was a dedicated mother who worked very hard to balance her professional career with her personal life.

She married William D. “Bill” Blood in November 1952 where she became the mother of four children; they later divorced. In November 1971, she married Quinn M. Beckstead and her family grew by seven, including three children they had together and four stepchildren; they later divorced.

Sally spent her life being active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she served faithfully in many callings, including serving as a senior sister missionary in the Raleigh, North Carolina Mission.

She is survived by her children: Julie (Ren) Weaver, Vancouver, WA; Janna (Perry) Olsen, Perry, UT; Michael (Wendee) Blood, Oregon City, OR; Nathan (Malinda) Beckstead, West Point, UT; Rachel Beckstead, Trumann, AR; and nineteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren with one on the way. She is also survived by her sister Mary (Gary) Halverson, Ogden, UT and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Sally was preceded in death by two children who died in infancy, DeAnn Blood and Leo Jason Beckstead, as well as her parents and eight siblings.

The family would like to thank the staff of Family Tree Assisted Living Center in West Point, UT and Comfort Worx Hospice for the wonderful and loving care they provided to our mother.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 28, 2017 at 10 am at Aaron's Mortuary, 496 24th St, Ogden, Utah with a viewing from 9 to 9:45 am prior to the service at the mortuary.  Interment Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT.
