Scott Daniels (Miller)

Scott Daniels (Scott Miller), 58, passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday, May 26, 2013 due to heart complications. He was born June 1, 1954 in Ogden, Utah to Vaughn and Dorothy (Dottie) Miller. He attended Bonneville High School from 1969-1972. Scott was a musician during the 1970's and 1980's. He played at various clubs and events in Washington and throughout northern Utah. He also loved to sing around the campfire for his friends and family. Scott married Laura Johnson in 1986. She had two children, Candice and Justin, who Scott loved as if they were his own. They were later divorced, but Scott remained a father figure to the kids and a grandfather figure to their children Nettie and Lewis. Presently he was a delivery driver for Joe's Pizza, where he had been employed for over 16 years. Scott enjoyed fishing, hunting and working in his yard. He was also very talented with woodworking and could build almost anything, Scott is survived by his parents;, his brother, Stan Miller of Roy, Utah and his sister, Carol (John) Ellis of Anchorage, Alaska;, and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, June 9, 2013 from 6 to 8 pm at Aaron's Mortuary located at 496 24th Street, Ogden, Utah.
