Scott W Smith

Scott W. Smith passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 2, 2012. He was born October 23, 1958 in Anchorage, Territory of Alaska to Wayne G. and Donna Talbot Smith. He attended schools in Utah and Colorado, graduating from Boulder High, Boulder, Colorado in 1976. He served in the US Army from 1984 thru 1988, stationed in Nuremberg, Germany. He graduated from the University of Utah in 1990 with a BS degree in Economics. He had lived in Utah, Colorado, New York, and Georgia. He was currently employed by DFG/Scott Manufacturing. He was a Christian. He loved his family with all his heart. He is survived by his mother Donna Smith Thurgood, father Wayne Smith, sister Stacy M. Talley (Keith), brother Steven T. Smith (Christine), daughter Emily Katelyn, son Lee Scott, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Scott will be remembered for his sense of humor, kindness, honesty, and loving ways. A celebration of Scott's life will be held at the graveside on Friday, September 7, 2012 at 10 am at the Syracuse City Cemetery, 1290 S 1000 W, Syracuse, Utah. Family requests no flowers.
